Günzburg. The service city.

In addition to the city administration located in a former Austrian mint building, Günzburg is the seat of the district offices, the district court, the land survey office and the tax authority. So all of the important authorities are found in one location for incoming businesses. All of the larger banks maintain branches in Günzburg. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the administrative district of Swabia also has a branch office here.

Günzburg. Fair Trade City.

Günzburg has been a “Fair Trade City” since 2014. A future-proof urban development program, particularly with regard to a preservation approach to the resources available to us, ranges from local dedication - from individual citizens, commerce and gastronomy. The “#GZplastikfrei” campaign has also been in force since 2019 to prevent packaging waste. Our local “Agenda 21” organizes additional sustainable projects.
